CMMEA is a non-ionic surfactant derived from plants, and belongs to the amide class of thickening and stabilizing foam agents along with 6501 and CMEA; Due to EU regulations restricting the use of diethanolamine and the fact that CDEA is not recommended in the Chinese cosmetic ingredient catalog, CMMEA has become an upgraded product of amide based foam stabilizers and thickeners. This product is widely used in various liquid personal hygiene care products and home cleaning products, such as shampoo, shower gel, facial cleanser, hand sanitizer, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and liquid soap, etc. It plays a role in thickening, foaming/stabilizing, fatliquoring, and improving cleaning effectiveness.
