Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) belongs to the anionic cellulose ether class, appearing as white or slightly yellow flocculent fiber powder or white powder, odorless, odorless, and non-toxic; Easily soluble in cold or hot water, forming a transparent solution with a certain viscosity.
