Beeswax is an organic mixture secreted by worker beeswax glands, with the aroma of pollen and nectar. Beeswax is a fatty substance secreted by the eight wax glands located in the abdomen of the worker bees. The bees are used to build the spleen and cover the hive. Beeswax is the most widely used animal wax in modern industrial medicine.
Application;
(1) Cosmetics. It has excellent adhesion, permeability, emulsification, and smoothness. It is widely used in the production of face cream, vanishing cream, lipstick, hair oil, eyebrow pencil, eye shadow, etc.
(2) Foodgradebeeswax has excellent moldability, detachability, film formation, water resistance, moisture resistance, and oxidation resistance. Therefore, it is used by the food industry and households as a barbecue oil, cooking wax, and Chinese and Western snacks. Used as a release agent for candy processing.
(3) In the pharmaceutical industry, it is widely used as ointment base material and Chinese patent medicine packaging.
